T.Goy Plus years have passed since then Sex and the City aired first, but its characters and their famous lines remain relevant to this day. All four ladies had some fairly relevant quotes, but the protagonist of the show, Carrie Bradshaw, always amazed us when it came to her wit and humor, whether it’s love, friendship or life in general. That’s why in this article we pay homage to NYC’s favorite columnist by sharing her best advice.

Dare to be yourself

From the moment the show was first aired, we had the opportunity to see Carrie stylistically in numerous editions. With a rocking body and a designer closet that every woman would envy her for, Carrie was also a shoe lover that became popular Manolo Blahniks and Christian Louboutins, Regardless of all the expensive clothes and shoes she wore, it was her daring, exaggerated style choice and authenticity that made her so iconic.

If you were to watch SATC episodes again, you would see that there were so many outfits that Carrie wore that had a strong impact on fashion trends. If you need any New Year’s fashion inspiration Carrie’s outfits were pretty much a fashion gold mine. This only shows that Carrie’s sense of style, her impeccable eye for fashion and the confidence with which she wore her outfits are the reasons why she became a fashion icon that we all love. And no matter how crazy her outfits were at times, her demeanor made everything look trendy and chic, proving that the most beautiful thing to wear is indeed self-confidence.

Variety is really the spice of life

Carrie was as creative with her hairstyles as she was with her outfits. From a strawberry red bob she wore in the pilot episode to her frizzy locks, Carrie inspired us to change things when we wanted to. She often changed hairstyles for different events, such as the romantic hairstyle she rocked when she met the Russian, an artist with whom she later fell head over heels in love. Was it his accent, his artistic soul or his irresistible charm that pulled Carrie off his feet? We will never know.

However, one thing is certain: Carrie has shown us that variety is indeed the spice of life and that you should always strive to try something new, be it coloring or trying your hair in a beautiful new shade beautiful russian hair weaving to channel your inner Carrie Bradshaw when she was with the Russian, or to boldly rock a hairstyle that doesn’t have time to properly style in public. To be honest, we all have to thank Carrie for making the last one socially acceptable.

Friends can be our soul mates

If there is one thing that we can all clearly see from the way Carrie and her friends interact in the six seasons of the hit series, nothing can stand between their strong friendship. Some of them had to face the challenges of divorce, others had to face prejudice at work.

Some had to accept that their life was a constant mess, while others had to find the courage to face a potentially life-threatening illness. Despite all the things life threw at them, their friendship remained absolutely solid. When Carrie said, “Maybe our friends are our soul mates and boys are just people to have fun with,” many of us got very close and showed us that some friendships are like diamonds – they are forever.

Fall in love with yourself first

Although she’s been through a lot Heartache and separationCarrie knew that nobody could love her the way she loved herself. In essence, she taught us that it is important to be happy with ourselves before we expect others to be, no matter who we are with.

Self-love came first in this icon, and its teaching was that regardless of how many relationships you have, the relationship you have with yourself is the most important. And if you happen to find someone who can love you as you love yourself, you can count yourself lucky. As long as you are happy with yourself and love yourself, you ultimately don’t need anyone to do it for you.

Sex and the City is a cult TV show that is traceable to this day. Wise words from his protagonist Carrie continue to entertain and inspire women and men around the world, and although the show ended a long time ago, there is no reason not to go on SATC-Binge and learn about the adventures of our favorite New laugh yorker.
